America's Next Top Model!

So Keith and I joke all the time that our daughter need's an agent! She always says the funniest things that you can't beleive a 3 yr old would come up with and whatever she says she says with great conviction..and for the longest time I thought it was just me that felt like she was this huge drama queen. But more and more other people are starting to notice what I have been for a long time. Let me tell you this sweet, little girl has quite the personality! Today she put on the outfit that Grandma and Grandpa bought her for christmas and I told her that I wanted to take some pictures to send to them so they could see her in it..and I promise I DID NOT TELL HER WHAT TO DO....as a matter of fact I was just trying to get her to stand there and let me take a straight on pic..well this is what she gave me and this is why she's my little model!:)

SNOW DAY

Well today seemed like it was Caleb's 100th snow day this year! Everytime I turn around he has a snow day! But we did make use of it today and I got the kids out of the house for most of the day..First we did a little cleaning of the car and playing in the yard and then we decided to go sledding. It was Cassidy's first time beleive it or not..I can't believe she is almost 4 yrs old and I haven't put her on a sled yet! Really the reason is because whenever it snows we never have a sled and when I see one in the store and attempt to buy it I think "we don't even NEED that now", but today the neighbor saw us heading to the park with a broken, bent old saucer that Caleb got years ago and offered to let us borrow his! It was really nice and we headed down the hill..The kids loved it but I didn't bring my camera that time and with me and my scrapbook obsession there was NO WAY that I wasn't going back with a camera in tow. After all I have to document ALL the firsts!! So here are a few pics that I took before my camera fogged up and I couldn't take anymore...It's nice to get out with the kids and watch them have fun, seeing them smile like that is such a enlightning feeling and I am reminded how lucky I am to have them..so a few lessons that I learned today..ALWAYS BRING YOUR CAMERA (even if it's snowing!), BUY YOUR KIDS A SLED BEFORE IT SNOWS!, and having fun with the kids is priceless in their eyes and in yours!:)

Vacation Finally!

So we are so excited we finally get to take a family vacation this year! When Keith switched jobs he was due for vacation and when he started the new one he had to wait for a year! THEN once the year came up he had to go into a lottery where the people that have been there longer get first dibs. So we looked at Caleb's school schedule and he put in for Spring Break and didn't get it! :( I was pretty bummed thinking that we were destined to go another year without a family vacation! Spring is the best to take it because the summer they are so busy that they are reluctant to give people their vacations and same with winter with everyone wanting holidays off. So I knew it was NOW or next year! Well he got Easter vacation!!! YEAH!! We will have to take Caleb out of school for two days because it's just a long weekend vacation but it should all work out! We are going to Williamsburg Va to go to Busch Gardens on opening day and then we are headed to my mom's house in Maryland to spend Easter with my family there! We haven't ever done Easter with them so everyone is excited. And because Cassidy's 4th birthday is the thurs after Easter we decided to make Easter dinner her bday party too! Hannah Montana this year! Sounds fun huh?? lol :) So even thought it's gonna be short we have managed to combine fun for the kids, fun for us and a family visit and a birthday party all into one! I can't wait the more I plan the more excited I am!!!

Arianna Catherine Mullamphy

We have a new niece! Ryan, (Keith's younger brother) and his girlfreind had a baby girl on Jan 23rd. Her name is Arianna, and she is so beautiful! We went to see her for the first time on sunday night. The whole family took a trip to the Bronx to meet her. She looks EXACTLY like Cassidy did but with dark hair! She was really quiet and just slept and didn't care about the commotion or who was holding her. It was really exciting for me because Cassidy hasn't ever held a baby and if you know Cassidy you know she LOVES her baby dolls. She's the best 3 yr old mommy I've ever seen!!! She just lit up when she saw Arianna..a real life baby doll!! They are less than 4 yrs apart so it will be really cute as she get's older and they close the age gap to see a little blonde haired Cassidy running around with a dark haired look a like!! Can't wait for that day!! But for now we will enjoy the newest addition to the family!!
